Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do we submit projects for consideration for the Call for Ideas?

    Entrants submit their their projects online. See the Submissions page for information and submissions link.

  2. When will futureNOLA begin accept submissions?

    Entrants can sign-up for the Call for Ideas starting March 1, 2018. Submissions will be accepted starting April 2018.

  3. What is the deadline for submitting to the Call for Ideas?

    All entries must be submitted online by 11:59 PM CST, December 31, 2018. No late entries will be considered for the Call for Ideas.

  4. What kind of proposals/media will be accepted?

    Proposals, designs, writings, art, and media of almost any kind may be submitted to the Call for Ideas. Entrants should include a representative sample of the work in digital form, such as photographs, renderings, sketches, written abstracts, videos, sound recordings, etc., for the work to be evaluated.   5. Where will the Exhibition and Gala take place?

    The futureNOLA Exhibition and Gala will be held in the Cabildo Museum on Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Cabildo Museum is part of the Louisiana State Museum.

futureNOLA is presented by the New Orleans Architecture Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt not-for-profit organization in Louisiana.
